Creative Art-worker position.
Field are looking for a full-time Creative Art-worker to seamlessly drop in to our amazing team of designers. We take pride in our ability to interrogate a problem and respond creatively to our clients, whether that be through traditional design for print or through digital solutions.
We would expect that you have a natural artistic talent and will enjoy being involved in creative discussions around our ever increasing projects. As an integral part of the team you will be responsible for managing jobs through the studio with a key emphasis on liaising with printers and clients to make sure that we hit deadlines and quality benchmarks. The role will require a high level or organisation and project planning.
We are a primarily Mac based studio and we would expect you to have an in-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative suite with an emphasis on InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
The skill set that we are looking for:
- Good communication skills to ensure planning schedules and client liaison run smoothly.
- An in-depth understanding of brand and corporate guidelines.
- Collaborative skills to work closely with senior designers managers and account executives as well as the client.
- Great organisation and reporting skills at every stage of the design and artwork process.
- Methodical approach to archiving images and artwork.
- Experience in creating digital artwork and assets for social media platforms.

For 10 years Field Studio have approached every project from a design first perspective. Our belief is that any problem can be fixed by great design.
We are situated in the Cultural Industries Quarter in Sheffield City centre, just a two-minute walk from the train station and lots of bus routes. We are above the very popular, and very delicious, Tamper coffee. We can almost see the Millennium galleries, and our team will be more than happy to show you all the little, independent foodie delights dotted around the city centre.
