Sheffield Digital Festival
May 2019 saw the first ever digital festival hosted by Field.Studio and Sheffield Digital. The idea behind the festival was to make some noise about the digital industries booming in the city with a week-long celebration, ending with a conference at new space Ko:Host.

We’re incredibly proud to have been working with the Interior Design MA course at the Royal College of Art to produce their end of year microsite. The site acts as an 'Archive’ of a unique group of graduates and pays reference to their final year, played out partly in London and latterly scattered across the globe. The student portraits are created from their WFH studios and act as a symbolic reference to all that 2020 has thrown at them. It is a credit to them that the work on display still meets the highest of standards. Northend was created when two printing firms in Sheffield merged. The bringing together of these two companies resulted in the continued future of one of the city’s oldest printers, Northend Creative Print Solutions, and helped the youngest printer in the city, My Print Partners, to grow their quality service offering. Field were approached by the new team to create a new identity that reflected the heritage from one side of the business and the innovation of the other. The identity needed to reflect the size of the business and the new offering as a full-service printhouse.
Sheffield Central Counselling approached Field to help them improve their online identity and help alleviate some of their administration. One of the issues that they were finding is that new customers were booking appointments and not showing up. Not only did this mean lost revenue, but the directors were spending valuable time manually managing the diaries of all the staff. Sheffield Central Counselling is the first private practice in Sheffield that allows customers to book an appointment and pay online. This function has reduced the number of no-shows and removed the loss of revenue this caused. The system allows for individual counsellors to make, and take payment, for future bookings with customers and they manage their own diaries. This has freed up the time of the directors who are now able to help more customers themselves. Since the booking system has been in place, they have seen an overall increase in bookings.
